Your newest Whitecaps FC player was acquired on January 31, 2012. He originally played for the Sounders in the USL years but was left unprotected by the team when moving to the MLS. The Phillidelphia Union picked him up in the draft and made him into a fan favorite. It helped that Le Toux scored 25 combined goals in the last two years for their club. Le Toux was acquired by the Whitecaps for allocation money and now he finds himself back in the Pacific Northwest and so far, he's warmed up to the idea. He's just glad to feel wanted again....especially by a club like Vancouver.
