Accused of Racism on Halloween!?!?

I don't understand people sometimes.  The whole point in dressing up on Halloween is to be someone other than yourself.  Whether they dress up as monsters, athletes, or rock stars, these are all forms of flattery....and should be taken as such.  Not racism.  In the case of Raffi Torres, a former canuck,  he decided to go as Jay-Z last night and has since been acussed of being racist mainly by people on social media!  Unbelievable!  If you haven't seen the photo yet, here it is.

Obviously, Raffi wasn't born a black man.  He used make-up to color his skin.  But don't we all do that on Halloween when we color our skin white to look like a Zombie or green for Frankenstein?  Why does color have to matter?  ITS HALLOWEEN!!!!  I say give Raffi a break.  It was just a form of flattery and race had nothing to do with his costume.

Just saw a tweet from Kevin Bieksa regarding this issue and he addressed it in his own witty way!  I hope the Elves don't get angry.
