Today's Hump Day Hottie was aquired last season by Mike Gillis as he was given only a second to think about if he wanted him by the Florida GM. Good Pickup Gillis!! With a reputation as a party boy, scoring average of 11 goals in his last four seasons and moving around in three different teams last year, he was definitely a risk. But it panned out for Vancouver. Chris Higgins likes Vancouver and has decided that he was going to start fresh this year and play some real hockey. And so far, he hasn't dissapointed. Easily one of the hardest working Canucks on the ice since season started and on pace for 58 points this year. Also doesn't hurt that he's got abs of steel as recently photographed in Rogers Arena.
